All proceeds will be used to sponsor youth development activities of the youth centres and schools under the auspices of the Salesians of Don Bosco and Association of Salesian Co-operators Limited and operational use of Bosco Charity Association Limited.

Draw results will be publicized on 18 July 2025 in the Standard and Sing Tao Daily and Bosco Charity Association Limited website. Winners should collect prizes from Bosco Charity Association Limited office at 5/F, Chung Nam House, 59 Des Voeux Road Central, Central, Hong Kong on any working days (Mon-Fri:9:00am-1:00pm & 2:00-6:00pm) on or before 18 Aug 2025 on production of the winning ticket(s). Winners are required to call Miss Yu at 2856 0038 to register in advance for collection of prizes. All prizes are non-cashable and non-refundable. If a winner does not collect his/her prize within the time prescribed hereinabove, he/ she shall be deemed to waive his/ her right to the prize. Bosco Charity Association Limited may dispose of the relevant prize as it thinks fit. In case of any dispute, decision of Bosco Charity Association Limited shall be final and conclusive.

BCA StarWalkathon 2025

BCA StarWalkathon 2025 was successfully held on Saturday, 22 February 2025 at The Peak Road Garden, The Peak. The laughter of more than one hundred charity walkers added brilliance and vitality to the event.

Participants arrived at The Peak Road Garden at 10 o’clock on a windy, cool morning and demonstrated their enthusiasm for charity for youth and fellowship. They took photos with the “StarWalkers” and participated in the "Best Participation Awards" which further enhancing the lively atmosphere of the event. The StarWalkathon 2025 was opened by BCA Chairman Thomas Yeung who delivered a warm and welcoming speech. Father Simon Lam SDB then led the prayer and blessed the event. The participants completed the entire walking journey in less than one hour in a joyful and harmonious manner.

 

We would like to thank all distinguished guests who have supported the event, including but not limited to:

-Honored guests from the Salesian Society: Father Joseph Ng SDB, Father Simon Lam SDB, Father Savio Yeung SDB, Father Pedro Leong SDB, Father Matthew Chan SDB, Rev. Father Paul Leung SDB and Father Poon SDB.

-Salesian School Principals:  Mr. Wong Wai Kin of the Salesian Yip Hon Millennium Primary School, Ms. To Yuk Yin of Salesian English School and Mr. Ma Ka Kin of St. Anthony's School also attended our event.

-The President, Vice Presidents, members and their families of the Don Bosco Charitable Association.

-Teams from Youth Centres sponsored by Don Bosco Charitable Association, including: Aberdeen Technical School Boarding Section, Don Bosco Learning Centre, Don Bosco Youth Centre – St. Louis Centre, Don Bosco Youth Centre (SYHMPS), Here All Share and Salesian Cooperators (China Province).

Thank you for their presence and support. Their enthusiasm and dedication made the event a complete success.

We are grateful that the event successfully achieved its goals and raised more than HK$350,000 for Bosco Charity Association. It fully demonstrated the power of cooperation between participants and supporters. We look forward to holding more events for our supporters and let the spirit of St. John Bosco be passed on for generations.
