BCA StarWalkathon 2024
The 8th Annual BCA StarWalkathon was successfully held on the 27th January, 2024, Saturday, at the Peak Garden Road, the Peak this year. Over a hundred participants attended the Walk on that day and everyone completed the walk happily.
We were very grateful that the opening speech and the welcome speech were given by Father Joseph Ng SDB, Head of China Province of Salesian Society of Don Bosco and Chairman of Bosco Charity Association Mr Thomas Yeung respectively and followed by a prayer led by Father Simon Lam SDB.
We sincerely thank our honored guests from the Salesian Society: Father Joseph Ng, Father Simon Lam, Father Savio Yeung, Father Pedro Leong, and Rev. Fr. Leung Paul SDB. Four Salesian School Principals from the Salesian Yip Hon Millennium Primary School, Salesian English School, Salesian Yip Hon Primary School and St. Anthony's School also attend our event.
Most importantly, we would like to thank the President and the Vice-Presidents, members and family members of the Bosco Charity Association, Salesian Yip Hon Millennium Primary School Team and a number of youth centres including the Aberdeen Technical School - Boarding Section, Salesian Cooperators (St. Louis Centre) and Salesian Cooperators (China Province) for their presence and support.
The Starwalkthon 2024 raised donations exceeding HKD370,000 for supporting the works that Bosco Charity Association do for the deprived youth in Hong Kong.
